Food Quality Assurance

Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager – Food Manufacturer, Minneapolis, MN

Are you looking for a company that respects, believes in and rewards it’s associates?    We’re searching for a Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance for a growing food manufacturing company in Minneapolis.  The role will be responsible for 5 plants across the state of MN.  The successful candidate will be a confident leader with a track record of superior hands-on accomplishments along with in developing people and processes successfully. Some qualifications include:·         5 plus years in progressively more responsible Food Safety and Quality Assurance management roles (USDA plants a must, meat preferred)
  • Expertise in leadership, development and support of the Quality Team (5 plants),  functioning in a broad quality and food safety role that requires both the strategic vision and the tactical execution. 
  • Must have experience with SQF (or similar), product compliance and specifications, food safety and quality management programs (HACCP, SSOP, GMP) vendor certification, supply chain performance, contract fulfillment, recall, complaint and issue resolution.  
  • Proven competencies in influencing others, change management, interfacing with plant operations, sales, product development and customers. 
  • Results orientation, analytical skills and maximizing relationships throughout the organization.
